PSAD Scientific AwardsThe PsychoSocial Aspects of Diabetes Study Group aims to stimulate scientific research on psychosocial issues in diabetes amongst European researchers and clinicians. Travel grants are awarded each year to junior members and those from Eastern European countries on a competitive basis.
Applications are made at the time of submission of abstracts. The winners of the travel awards will be selected by the executive committee on the basis of the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts. They will be informed at the time the decisions about abstracts are notified.

The PSAD/Novo Nordisk Science Award
The PSAD/Novo Nordisk Science Award has been set up to promote and publicise high quality research papers relating to psychosocial aspects of diabetes. The PSAD/Novo Nordisk Science Award will be awarded to the sole or main author of an outstanding peer-reviewed paper furthering our understanding of the psychosocial aspects of diabetes. The PSAD/Novo Nordisk Science Award is donated by NOVO Nordisk, which is a leading producer of insulin and other pharmaceutical products for diabetes management.

The PSAD Junior Scientist Travel AwardsThe PSAD Junior Scientist Travel Awards are offered to facilitate the participation of junior researchers at the annual PSAD study group meetings. A junior researcher is considered to be a person without a doctoral degree or a doctoral degree not older than 5 years. |
